What can one expect when dealing with the way in which systems are set.

Birthed into a place where life happens for you. Your life and all you aspire to be is placed on the way in which you come to see life. Your parents wanting the best for you while trying to provide the  hopes of having a life better than the one they had. To be clear I am speaking from a western American context. Labels, gender expression, religion, oppression, and the list goes on. Birthed into a place only to sleep. God forbid we become awaken and choose to stay awakened. That's when the journey begins. 

It has been a journey and now to even write about the experience of breaking chains (my chains and those for others). To stay woke means  that life has to undergo things that I formally wasn't dedicated to. But God keeps speaking. Life became a place where I had to choose to live. Literally.

I Invite you on this journey with me as I attempt to express what it took and will take to carry out the life of living in truth and love. We can do this by breaking chains with a a renewed mindset.
